About Me

Hi there!

 I'm Kelsey, a 30 year old ICU RN from British Columbia, Canada. I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in a small town, which I later left for the province of Alberta where I earned my Bachelor of Nursing Degree. I graduated University in 2013 and have been working as an Intensive Care Nurse since 2015. I pursued nursing as a profession after both my Oma and Grandma were diagnosed with dementia several years ago. Having experienced the devastating effects disease can have on a family, I wanted to be a source of knowledge and comfort for patients and families in crisis.

I started this platform as I frequently receive questions regarding travel nursing and how I got started. I'm hoping to use this website as a means to spread information and share my own journey in hopes that other nurses gain confidence to start their own.
